Lands Viaduct Cockfield Fell

As a young boy living in the village of High Lands i remember this viaduct being still in use In the summer we would often venture inside the structure of the bridge looking for birds eggs The trap doors and steps leading inside the bridge were often left unlocked and were situated in between the railway tracks of the bridge I remember vividly once when exiting the bridge a Steam Train approaching rapidly as i peeped above the trap door , I have never run so fast in my life
