Without a doubt, this is one of the most creative ways I've seen to draw clouds. They instantly look like clouds. Great job with the entire painting. That 1000 piece of sandpaper never dreamed it would have such a nice life. lol

Marvellous! Thank you very much. I love draw and paint ways. I will try it and its tittle wil be: "Un camino para huir, Horizonte al que llegar Y un tocón para sentarse Cuando ya no puedes más". Thank you very much.

You are not just Maestro, you are an Amazing Maestro. It is really amazing how you bring to life with the shading and blending. You make it look so simple and easy, but never so easy. You explanation and narration is always smooth and easy to understand.

35:53 my experience with fixative is that it will ruin the thin layers of white and yellow. The master whom i am learning from uses fixative only when he wants to fixate a base layer to build another on top. He never sprays the final artwork. Great videos you have!

@@jameshenderson5385 yeah, one has to be careful with sandpaper.

damn beautiful, after drawing how do you store the completed sandpaper drawing ? do you just place it under something or do you use some light paper as cover on top and store it in a file ?
@MiroslavSunjkic2 жыл бұрын
I just put them under something
@jcepri2 жыл бұрын
can I ask, what do you generally do with your pastel drawings after? how do you store them? from what I understand they smudge very easily. these seem a lot harder to store and display thsn an oil painting for example. thanks
@MiroslavSunjkic2 жыл бұрын
I spray them lightly with fixative though that doesn't do much and then just put them in folders.

I don't think the tree stump is such a good idea. My eyes immediately go to the stump instead of following the landscape/road.

What blending tool are you using, sir?
@MiroslavSunjkic7 ай бұрын
With pastels there's no better blending tool than your finger. However that sometimes won't do so you'll have to use brushes, blending stumps and soft tools.

Do you use any fixative during the drawing process or do you feel that this is not required?
