I replanted my azaleas around my oak tree. Oh my when they started blooming, glorious!!! Loving your landscaping

I love your new sidewalk border! It will be fun to follow your progress as you make changes to your landscape. Keep an eye out for garden art when you go thrifting and antiquing for pretty and unusual pieces.

The flowers bed look good. That shovel is some work for sure, I have to get hubby to do it for me now lol I am 64 and that will wear me out in just a little bit . Happy Mother’s Day to you too!❤

The landscaping looks really good, you did a good job. I know what you mean about being an old lady , I will turn 62 on Tuesday. My husband had a bad accident last August and was in a wheelchair for a while so all the yard work falls on me , but that’s okay because I’m a yard person anyway. Love decorating, but there’s something about being in the yard in the dirt. Hope your husband feels better soon. ❤😊

Hope your husband is doing ok! I love verbena, so pretty! And i like that they come back & spread every year! I agree i like that border better like that too. You are so right about it being pricey girl! When we lived in NC on 40+acres with just the yard over an acre, our home was 86ft long, front deck was 22 × 12. The flower bed went all the way from end to end with the 12ft dip at the end of the deck. So that was actually 98feet in front, 86 feet down the back, and not sure about the sides. One end of the house was just rose bushes. We were given several truck loads of large rock sort of like those you have that we used as the boarder. But shrubs and flowers and truck loads of mulch.. Plus quite A few other flower beds and establishing grass because the land had to be cleared, it was completely wooded! Of course I had all sorts of little trinkets or cute garden decor i spent a fortune on🥴lol It took about 4years to get it looking really good! And we planted quite a few mature flowering trees. Lol girl I wish i had all the money we spent on that place!😩 But I loved It and enjoyed it. I couldn't do it now tho! NicoIe it looks so pretty, you did so good! I know you love it! The soaker hoses are the way to go! We had A sprinkler system for the grass but soaker hoses in the beds. You have A gorgeous piece of land! Hope your mothers day was a good one as well. Hope you have a very blessed week my friend and ill keep your husband in my prayers🙏

Your house looks very nice! You have done a good job with your landscaping. It is amazing what a little elbow grease will do. The birds sound so beautiful in the background. You have a beautiful yard to work in. I too hope your husband gets to feeling better. You need a yard swing so you and your mother can sit out there and listen to the birds. That’s a wonderful idea. My parents have enjoyed watching me work on our flower beds. When I was a little girl we would redo the landscape at almost every home we lived in. Now for a little back note… we lived in 12 states plus Canada by the time I was a senior in high school. 😳 Loved every minute of it. Thank you for watching!! You were very lucky to get to experience different people and different cultures. I lived in the same house in the same town all my life. The closest thing to a vacation, we would go to my Aunt and Uncle’s house once a year. It was in Dayton , Ohio about 60 mile away. We I got married my husband and I lived in my town another 21 years. Finally we moved to the country. Change was hard for me, but now I will take off and go anywhere. Even in a day. I love going and meeting new people.

Happy mother's Day to you too Nicole, I hope your husband starts feeling better. And I am scared to death of snakes my cat has brought me three of them already and it's not even summer yet. My dad always tried to get me to get ducks I guess they help keep the snakes away.
