Very true Julian, it truly transforms a landscape and an otherwise mundane landscape can become something photogenic when covered in snow.

Very enjoyable Nick. What ever anyone says, I love the Old Man of Storr and that’s surrounding area even if it’s a bit of a hike. Im glad you made the effort even if it was 50/50 forecast, risk and reward hey, and looking at the first couple of minutes, it really looks like subtle light and worth it to me. A place I would dearly love to get back to when it’s snowing.

Thanks very much Christian. I agree with regards the images at the end of the video. If I had light earlier on those images would have worked better, however as I said in the video ‘you’ve got to take what you’re given 😆’. Going to struggle the next couple of weeks as we have a week long workshop here on Skye this coming week then I’m heading over to Harris/Lewis for another week long workshop (such a hard life).

Thanks very much Mali. I’ve done Storr many times and in varying conditions (deeper snow than this), so am used to it 😁. You don’t think 8 seconds is long enough?

Yea you’ve been up there more times than many. 8 second if you’ve got a good few images but you have such detailed shots, 15 seconds is good. Ken burns kinda lends itself to a longer on screen. But hey not my video it’s yours so do what the hell you like 😍😂👍 I put mine on for around 10 seconds but that’s a static shot and intend to have toooo many images some may say. Anyways very enjoyable 👍

Thanks Mali, I appreciate the feedback. I will check out others and see how long they keep images in screen for. I have just had a look at one of your last videos and the images were only up for 5 seconds each, however they were also static.
