Thats a gorgeous image, pleased I found your channel, looking forward to watching more of your videos. I'm hoping to get an intrepid 4x5 soon & start my large format journey.

Should be a new video at the weekend so stay tuned. Pleased you liked the image, it was a great moment capturing that. Intrepid is a great place to start but have a look at cameras by Chroma. They are around the same price point but 3d printed.

almost 2 years gone, and this video is left with only 4k views? that's unfair. you deserved a lottttt more man, subscribed to you, and you deserved that. Keep working hard like you are, I can see "Success" hanging around that corner lmao.

Love watching you guys do this. Love the colours - so natural At this stage I'm too lazy and beyond it to go back to film. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more 😎👍

Thanks Eltin. You may not want to go back to film but you can certainly adopt some of the methodology to use with digital. Thanks for watching.

Fascinating to watch the work that goes into getting just one shot but worth the effort, it's a great shot & glad you liked DD :-)

Very enjoyable watch Russell. Have never been to Dinas Dinlle but it's been on my list for ages - one day. Loved the image and for me shooting side light is much preferable to shooting straight into the sun. I look forward to seeing more content from you.

Do you have a preference for the light during sunset instead of sunrise? I do have a preference for sunrise because of the extra moisture in the air. This morning moisture creates extra ambiance in the images for me. What's your opinion on this? Warm regards Eke

I would agree that sunrise has light that is special, particularly in the mountains.

Lovely shot Russell. How do find the Chamonix? I’ve been eyeing them up myself.
@rjphotos5 жыл бұрын
Hi Craig. Thanks for watching the video. The Chamonix is wonderful to use. Relatively light weight makes it possible to take up a mountain as you've seen. It's a little slower to set up than a folding camera like the MPP but no one is really in any rush with large format are they! Lots of movements, more than you'd ever really need. I considered an Intrepid but long term durability is something I pondered. The Chamonix is really built to last.
@CraigPrentisPhoto5 жыл бұрын
Yes, something lighter, excellent build quality and plenty of movements would be up there for me if I ever did change. I like my MPP but I think this would be a step up. I look forward to seeing your next outing. All the best.
