RARE Spotted Grouper! Catch Clean Cook

My buddies Scott, @Ryan Morie and I took a trip to the Panafishing Lodge in Pedasi, Panama. This is a lodge that specializes in popping and slow pitch jigging. Panama's inshore fishery presents incredible opportunity to catch giant fish on artificial lures, such as Cubera snapper, Broomtail grouper, tuna and roosterfish. We spent 4 days popping and jigging the coastline, in search of trophy fish and species many anglers would consider dream or bucket list fish. This video follows our last 2 days of fishing.

Talk about slimy fish, I know people that wont bring a northern pike in the boat. I think they're like your pickerel? Top water duck lures look like fun to fish pike with, be fun to see if they'd work on ocean fish.

When a fishing lodge doesn't list their prices on their website, it either means they are super expensive or the market is super competitive.... or both. Would love to get down there one day...

It is due to currency conversion issues when working with foreign agencies. We are by far the cheapest in Panama because we don t have to run far to be in good fishing grounds, because our marketing budget is 0, and because we don t try to be luxury. No one will carry your gear to the boat haha !
