The % seems to be closer to 45% to landstar. 1st load 1600 is 45% of 2900. The others seem to follow tha same percentage. Is my math wrong?

It’s about 50% after diesel and commission.

I’ve been with Landstar for 7 years. Landstar’s cut actually gets closer to 52% after all the deductions. Worker comp, ELD air time, bobtail liability ETC ETC. I grossed $199,667.42 in 2023 and my net after there cut was $103,474.30. And had $78,000 in fuel. $22,316 in maintenance (2021 tractor, 2023 trailer) and I DO NOT pull anything less than $2.70 a mile EVER.. you do the math. Boy I killed it. This guy is full of it.

After all our expenses we got about 50% back and that not including maintenance cause that month was non. Not every month will be the same. This video was just to show that is still possible to make money even on this horrible market we are in.

You wouldn’t waste your time leasing to landstar 🙏🏼. This is how it works. $6495 the line haul gross. Minus $1900 fuel surcharge ( landstar dont take commission off the fuel surcharge so you have to take from the total load amount ). So $6495- $1900 will be $4595 and this is the amount landstar takes commission. $4595-35% is $1608.25 that will make the total line haul $2986.75+1900 from the fuel surcharge. So from this load we got back from landstar $4886.75. If you have any other questions let us know boss 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼✅✅✅

You would need a year experience over the road in the last 3 years and you gotta have your own bobtail. Its a long process to get into landstar but its definitely worth the wait 🤑🙌🏼🙏🏼🫡

THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!! I’m at Landstar, know 8 other BCO’s and NONE are making that. All of us have been here 6 yrs plus. From 2022-2023 LANDSTAR HAS WENT TO SHIT!!! Freight is paying half what it was. I’m looking for elsewhere to go. 90 % of agents that have popped up since 2021 speak English worse than this guy. Most are not even in the United States.. Eastern European crooks that don’t give AF as long as they get their commission. They have NO clue.. they have multiple agents fighting over the same freight and the rate continues to drop like a lead ballon.

We got it from pride truck sales in Atlanta GA. From the total net Profit in the video i forgot to put $1580 truck payment + $500 from an oil change. 24k net profit with all the deductions.

I have a lot of saving don’t need to take monthly maintenance i just fix whenever breakdown and put on that month expenses. 🙏🏼🙌🏼🫡✅.
