I have a 15 year old evo 40 that I restored and painted myself and built custom basically from the ground up… best board I’ve ever ridden

Awesome. I have the 36" EVO and I love it. Had longboards stolen out of my car and from right in front of me three times now, so it stays safely tucked away on a rack in my room. One of my most prized possessions. XD

Hi Mister, thanks die the review off my board, i have the Landyachtz 20 years. IT was my first board. Majority i picked IT so you said because IT stability. Is there also now someting with the (bear) trucks, making a lower angel OR someting from IT (i AM niet sure yet) Because there are here despite no hills i use this board for commuting. The bushings are now after two years OR someting worned out (also i tighten Them to fast for stability. Any tips for the trucks OR choice bushings are welcomm. Longboards are great, ✌️🌞🌻 Alexander

Double barrels and if you want it to turn less go with harder bushings!

Hi, thanks for the reply 😀🌞 i put the old one from the Bottom (who didn't worned out at the top) and some harder at the top and switched the hanger upsight down for lower at the ground 😋🙂 All good now 😀✌️ Alexander (Review off the 852 trucks) www.boardmag.com/mag/longboard/reviews/test-review-longboard-trucks-bear-grizzly-852

@@fingerscrossed2317 you’re gonna want the harder bushing boardside and a softer one roadside or have them both the same. Flipping the hanger is a good move too!

@@lylacrew1606 hi,.i tryed some harder bushings standard venom red 91A. They didn't fit right because the diameter was a litle bigger. So they plop out when leaning the board and plop in back horizontal. Also tryed one hard At the boardside And the old 83A (i tought) at the road side. That was also not a succes 🤨. Then i sticked by the old bushings, They fit exactley and are the smoothest ride..... But where to get new 83A ?..... On the board side is also no ring, wondering this normal for a new complete EVO (from that year) ? Flipping the hanger is cool. I put the back higher for cruising. Maybe downhill you want IT low and flat..

@@fingerscrossed2317 the issue is the bushing seat on the old bear trucks. My recommendations are to either 1. Upgrade to Gen 6 grizzlies in 40 degrees 2. Sand down the bushing seat a bit especially if they’re painted ones because the paint is what usually makes the seat smaller 3. Sand down the bushing a bit to get them to fit in the seat. The reason your old ones fit is because they’re softer so that compress easier and because they’re already broken in. Changing out your pivot cups can also help a lot. Or if you put some soap shaving or lip balm in your old ones it can lube them up so your hanger can fit better and pivot more smoothly!

can you do "revert" trick to ride it switch? and is it stable when riding it switch? (does the wedge and dewedge cause any problem?)
@lylacrew16063 жыл бұрын
The board is quite directional. The front wedge makes the front truck turn more and the back dewedge make the back turn less, so if you right the board backwards it is going to make it harder to turn and easy to get speed wobbles because most speed wobbles come from the back truck and if the front wedge is in the back, then the back is gonna turn more making it unstable.

How much wedge/dewedge does it have?
@lylacrew16063 жыл бұрын
I actually don’t know 😬
@Bss_-eo9dn3 жыл бұрын
Evos have a +15 wedge in the front and -15 dewedge in the rear
