I like that ball. Sorry to hear that your beloved center close down, my team and I (especially the other team) we lost our 24 Lane Brunswick center in a Shopping Mall in Davao City, Philippines cause few days before Christmas Day of 2017 around 9AM - 1 Hour or Several Minutes before the whole mall opens, the mall was on fire due to an Electrical Short Circuit located at the Textile Area inside the Department Store on the 3rd Floor (the floor where the lanes are located) and to make matters worse, the incident killed 39 People and mall was 90% destroyed and the place needed to be demolished. Christmas Day to January of 2018 was a VERY SAD moment for all the people of Davao for the victims. Thank God they have to rebuild the mall but I decided to work at that place to bring back the lanes.

Very sorry to hear of your bowling alley closing. We've lost 11 in the last 25 years. The ball develops a nice roll just before it hits the pocket.

bowlingzuki So does the U.S.A. Shame it wasn't 40 years sooner, when we had honorable ambassadors we could send to compete. Now all we've got are equipment bowlers with an attitude worthy of a spanking. Yes, shame Dick Weber, Earl Anthony, Glenn Allison, Barry Asher, Don Johnson, Mark Roth, and Johnny Petraglia couldn't be among those we send.

Here in the Philippines, Bowling was a struggle in the old days because centers weren’t keeping up their operations properly but today that no centers are going anywhere well maybe except when it comes with COVID. Unfortunately tho, majority of centers of the Philippines are from Metro Manila/National Capital Region (NCR) is where many Bowling centers can be founded easily, the rest of the country had limited Bowling centers available. Here in Davao City (where I lived), Bowling was collapsing because the Bowling centers here are poorly operated and poorly maintained and the last Bowling Center was closed due to a fire, now this place only had 1 Tenpin Bowling Center left and 2 Duckpin centers and speaking of Duckpins that it’s still majority alive in the Philippines. So for those who loved Duckpins, come over here.
