@jdbsr9098 Жыл бұрын
I would have to agree, If offered, he would take the job in a heart beat, and I think, he's already trying to position himself at the front of the line when, Nick, does leave. As a head coach, all he's missing is better talent, and a great DC. (I even believe he stayed in the SEC to play against, Nick, the recruiting aspect, and get use to playing against the talent their, as much as possible.) Which he would get if he were at Bama. But, the way, Nick, looks, it could be another 5-10 years from now, hopefully. But, we'll see, it could go to Sark, Locksley, or anybody by then. There will be a line of top guys that would take the job without hesitation.

Good question towards the end of the interview about athletes of yesteryear being "concussion/practice dummies." We need to get this through our old, nostalgic heads, athletes of today will not go through what athletes from the previous generation did. It was just too difficult and life-threatening, now a small part of me would like to see that but these kids today are "cut" a little different.

Players like Levi Wallace are the perfect example of sticking with it. He wasn’t just a good SEC starter after basically being a practice squad player for 4 years (not knowing if he’d even be a start in year 5) but he was also playmaker that has made a decent NFL career for himself. No one would’ve thought Josh Jacobs would’ve eventually started over Najee Harris as well as start over, or split time with Damien Harris.
