So Con, my kids gave me a SingTrix Karoke system for Mother's Day! I'd just found your music channel about the same time, and I love Al Green, I'm a '58 model, and I'm old school! When I came across your cover of "Simply Beautiful" I learned your way of the song by simply singing along with you and on this new system of mine, and it became my first Karoke song to ever sing! I recently dedicated it to all of my beautiful daughters, and daughter in law's and I recorded a video of me singing it @4:30am a month ago and showed it to them one by one, (which took courage!) and then on the 4th of July, they were all here for our big party and they all started singing Karoke, and then I announced, I wanted to sing! (Never done that before) So I sang it, and dedicated it to them, I've never done anything like that before!!! Your music and voice was playing in the background (which I love) but I added to it with the Singtrix system and in my own way here and there I added a few "enhanced" words of endearment! I have to admit when I recorded it, I'd been drinking just a little!!! I've sung/sang this song dozens of times with you! That song is an awesome cover you've done, and I love it, and the sound of your voice, your bass, and your system, The Laney is awesome!! Very cool stuff what y'all are doing, and I'm loving all of it! Signed, a Big OL fan from East Texas! Annette

@@constantinedelo4226 Hopefully if our band ever gets back across the ditch when the covid dust settles, I'll chuck in a request to our Sydney based tour manager / soundy and see if he can source one to hire for our next run there, could do with an upgrade from the typical Ampeg SVT he hires, it's like loading a frikken fridge every gig and we bassies know that them Ampeg SVT heads weigh a tonne. Back home in kiwiland I use a Mesa Boogie M-Pulse 600 2x4x10 cabs, had the old girl about 13 years now, solid, reliable and the two cabs are convenient for both huge stages or single cab for smaller clubs. They started out being light to lift but age catches up lol. Thank gawd for coaster wheels. Cheers!

Wow! Without doubt you are one of the best, quite possibly the best, bass players in the world, Con. I think my favorite session was with Darren singing "Crazy" originally by Seal. Your bass work, in my opinion, made the song better. I would love to hear another cover with your using that bass instrument. HSCC makes me wish I had continued a music career after serving a career in the Air Force. I sang and played drums in a youth center band at age 16. I even bought a bass guitar from a friend in 1983 while serving in Turkey. BTW I loved the analogy using sports cars on describing the capabilities of the Laney equipment. I owned several sports cars including a Porsche 924 and a Mustang Boss 302...such a crazy youth.
