They ignored the civilians inside and the car leaving with more suspects, that r even more suspicious, because they saw an unmasked guy eating chips on a bike. Even if Lang was suspicious at first all they had to do was send someone inside, take a witness statement, or acknowledge that guys leaving in a car with masks on, from the crime scene, was way more suspicious.

You probably don't watch Lang, he doesn't go down without a fight. He will only stop trying to escape if he can't actually do anything about it. He could be GSR tested yes but if it came down positive they would immediately link him up to the robbery without asking the people inside BS what happened. He doesn't just cooperate, and that is just how it is, you should watch him on a traffic stop maybe you'll get to see how he interacts with cops trying to question him. 😁

The cop failed bigtime. Yes, you should detain anyone in the area. But GSR testing is pointless, it doesn't determine anything for the situation. He should have had other officers check it out and see if Lang was involved, then send them on their way.
