ok usually in anime, ships are based off of little friendly interactions that can be interpreted as romantic, so it's easy to gloss over their possibility of being canon, but in sk8 the gay was PALPABLE istg there were so many parts where i had to pause and attempt to find a heterosexual way to explain the scene. god i love these kids
