I'm not sure I follow? Code and coders are essential for building quality apps. But code can also be used - can it not? - for demonstrating abstract concepts. I'm puzzled and yet intrigued by your observation. Would love to hear more! Lucidate

We aren't losing jobs, we are gaining low cost tireless high level employees. We are in colonial America and the whole American frontier is available to us. Greed, addiction to accumulating wealth and power, as the crypto world has shown us once again (get rich quick, to the mooon, don't get left holding the bag, over properly developing the technology), is our greatest obstacle for creating an incredible future...
@lucidateAI Жыл бұрын
You're spot on, we're not exactly losing jobs, we're gaining a troupe of tireless high-level workers - or should I say, to continue your 1700s theme - 'indentured servants', that don’t even need a pint at the end of a hard day's work. It's like being back in the colonial times, only this time, we have a whole new American frontier at our fingertips, not just Boston Harbour (spelt with a "u") - and thankfully, no tea crates are being tossed overboard! That said, you're absolutely barking up the right tree about the dangers of greed and the obsession with amassing wealth and power - it's like your 1850's Gold Rush all over again, or as you put it, the wild world of crypto. Instead of racing to see who can fill their coffers the fastest, we should be taking a good hard look at developing this technology in a way that doesn't leave anyone with the short end of the stick - we're looking at you, Boston Tea Party. You're dead right - we need to put the brakes on the 'get rich quick' mentality and focus on making this technology something that'll really make a difference in people's lives. After all, we don't want another 'no taxation without representation' situation on our hands, do we? So here's to that 'incredible future' you're talking about. With a bit of that British stiff upper lip, a sprinkle of careful development, and a dollop of ethical use, we can all be part of this exciting new frontier. Thanks for your bang-on perspective - it's conversations like these that keep us on the straight and narrow. Tally ho and onwards! - Lucidate (from the UK).

So essentially you are saying those on the wave of AI have the chance to boot everyone else aside for a __cking buck. I get it. We are going to loose jobs, you are just convinced you're not one of them. Good luck.
@lucidateAI Жыл бұрын
Not really. I think the future of anything, AI is no different, is uncertain. But I do agree with Jichael Morgan that there is way more opportunity and hope than threat and fear. Life Sciences are benefitting from AI, particularly in the realm of diagnostics. I also believe (but I clearly do no know, I am a humble consultant, not a prophet) that AI, as with all great technology innovations will be a net creator of jobs. That does mean that some jobs will cease to have as much relevance, but more jobs will be created to use the technology. This is perhaps against the current orthodoxy promoted by the media, and as I said it is a humble, personal view. Not a concrete fact. I'd be keen to hear your views on the matter, in particular if they differ from my own. You comment and contribution is greatly appreciated. I hope they continue and we can express a respectful plurality of differing opinions on this channel. Very best and thanks, Lucidate.

@lucidateAI I might add that predicting what's about to come is like being able to predict iphones, Facebook, netflix, etsy, Amazon, udemy, or tinder in 1985, which was all thanks to the worlds and entire job markets which personal computers and internet automation opened up.

Thanks Michael for your thoughtful comment. I'm sorry that the Biology analogy did not work for you. My wife is a biologist and this is how I explained it to her. There are also a few Life Sciences viewers on the channel, consequently I thought it might be useful in the video. Obviously it added little to no value in your case. Apologies again. In what subjects are you most interested? If you fling a couple over I'd be happy to take up the challenge of coming up with an analogy in that discipline for the LangChain components. I'm not promising that the analogy will be any good, but I am promising that I will give it my best shot! Keen to hear what you think about the other Lucidate comment. Thanks for taking the time to reply and offering your critique and constructive comment. Lucidate.

I would really like a chat bot in my Element server that I could just tell to do things and it would go and do them using the comprehension level of GPT4 that could spawn more specialized versions of itself and give orders through natural language that I could observe. I'd build the server with rooms for different tasks and teams (agents) like I would a building. My personal AI assistant, I'd call it EDA, Executive Director Agent.

Title: [[Lang Chain and Its Components: An Orchestrated Symphony of AI Applications]] by @Lucydate Goal: The goal of this text is to provide a comprehensive breakdown of Lang Chain and its components, illustrating how they work together seamlessly to create interactive, intelligent, and adaptive applications. Concepts: [[Chains]] - End-to-end wrappers that combine various components to accomplish a common use case. [[Large Language Model]] - A model that plays a crucial role in Lang Chain, each with a unique way of understanding inputs and generating outputs. [[Chain Index]] - Related chains that manage and categorize documents, ensuring their accessibility. [[Prompt Selector]] - Translates user input into a format that the model can understand and generates a response. [[Toolkit Agent]] - An action-oriented component that takes user input, decides on an action, and uses the appropriate tool to generate a response. [[Agent Executor]] - Coordinates with various departments to satisfy a business outcome. [[Schema]] - The blueprint or DNA of the Lang Chain architecture, defining the rules and standards. [[Models]] - Similar to organs in a biological organism, each with a specific function and unique understanding. [[Prompts]] - Sensory organs of the system, interpreting external stimuli and translating them for the model. [[Indices]] - Manage, categorize, and retrieve documents, ensuring their accessibility. [[Memory]] - Keeps a record of past interactions and provides context to the present. [[Agents]] - Similar to CEOs, coordinating activities and satisfying business outcomes. [[Information Retrieval]]: Indices in LangChain handle document management and retrieval, enabling efficient access to relevant information. Key Elements: #Chains #LargeLanguageModel #ChainIndex #PromptSelector #ToolkitAgent #AgentExecutor #Schema #Models #Prompts #Indices #Memory #Agents [[Integration Principle]] - Integrate different components to create a cohesive interactive and responsive AI system. [[Tool Selection]] - Choose the appropriate tool to execute an action. [[Component Integration]] - Work closely with every other component to integrate them effectively. [[Personification Principle]] - Personify the components to better describe their place in the Lang Chain architecture. [[Schema as Architect]] - Defines the blueprint, rules, and standards. [[Models as Engineers]] - Each model has a unique understanding and way of performing tasks. [[Prompts as Translators]] - Translate user input for the models and vice versa. [[Indices as Librarians]] - Manage, categorize, and retrieve documents. [[Memory as Historian]] - Keeps a record of past interactions and provides context. [[Chains as Logistics Managers]] - Sequence various components to create a finished product. [[Agents as CEOs]] - Coordinate with departments to achieve specific objectives.

@@lucidateAI also, do you know of any LLMs that work ok on Intel i5 levels of computer with 16 gb of ram?
@lucidateAI Жыл бұрын
For inference you can easily run LLMs on that spec. Training is clearly an altogether different matter and requires time, patience and a lot of hardware, with GPUs and lots of RAM. But you can find a bunch of suitable models at HuggingFace such as: OpenAI's GPT-2 model, particularly the smaller variants such as "gpt2-medium" or "gpt2-small," which are more lightweight and suitable for your specified hardware configuration.Hugging Face's DistilBERT, which is a distilled version of the BERT model and offers efficient inference capabilities on constrained hardware. Google's ELECTRA model, specifically the "electra-small" variant, designed to strike a balance between performance and resource requirements. These models, among others, have been optimized to run on hardware configurations similar to yours, offering reliable inference performance without overwhelming your system's resources.
