We shot everything in one day. 17 hour shoot day. It was intense. We shot everything on Blackmagic Ursa12k except for the riding shots. Those were shot on a Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro.

I worked at the Plaid (convenience store) next to Langlitz for a couple of years over a decade ago. I loved popping in there and smelling the shop, seeing what they had going on. I think it superbly captures the spirit of the rider. His credo was: "I would rather be ashes than dust! That was well done. The addition of drone footage added to the story. Somehow it reminded me of an interview with Dennis Hopper (director of Easy Rider) when he said "the only way I got the ending shot of the Captain American bike burning was from a helicopter pilot who agreed to allow our camera man to shot it for free". The war wagon . With tools , parts ,food booze , chairs tents , ass , gas and grass . Thats an adventure in itself . The real adventure is when you go alone with whats on your back and in your throw over saddle bags . Patching a tube on the side of the road , tracing wires after a case of the magic . smoke . Blowing a head gasket no problem I have a set taped under my seat . Running out of gas cause the speedo broke . Rejetting the carb from 1 side of the country to the next . Slamming into a deer at 70mph . Using tie wire to rig the throttle when the cable broke . Taking turns warming left and right hand on the ciylider head in the clold . Ah shit . Cruise control screw fell out again now throttle hand is out of rotation and freezing. Riding down the highway all by yourself at 3 in the morning . The bike is running great this is beutifull . Then you hear tink tink , tink tink shit somthing is wrong . Better check it out . Dam drag pipe burned a hole in my right side bag . All my tools are gone . Park it behind a guard rail sleep a couple hours till the sun come up . Start riding back on the shoulder looking for the tools . Highway trooper pulls over to ask why you going backwords on the shoulder . Im looking for my tools I can't leave em ,thems are snapons

Nice, romantic video, but what were the support/camera crew in, I'm thinking a big old 4x4 Jeep or Land rover, fully equipped with food, water, camping equipment, spares etc.....I was hoping to catch a glimpse of it!
