I've been testing several grammar checkers and found that the languagetool editor allows you to create "new text" which appears to be stored online. You can make the text permanent or temporary. I do not see a way to delete the "new text" objects listed on the left-hand side of the editor. There is a recycle bin, so there must be some way of deleting these files. I'm using the web-based version of languagetool. Does anyone know how to delete the "new text" objects?

I noticed that English support for spellcheck and grammar is a lot better than for other languages. If you want to add another language to - for example - Libreoffice then it gets a bit hacky. I get rather annoyed by spellcheck and correction while I am typing because it introduces quite a big lag while I am typing, I think it is best used to check after you are done with typing. The first program which I noticed it with is Thunderbird but also other programs have this problem: disable these checks during typing and the lag disappears.
