Re part 2, How did the pupil know the answers to the situation? Does she have something in front of her explaining that Mary was late and the bus was late ? Or did she just make it up?

The interlocutor asks the student two situations. The student must answer them depending on the situations with out any expansions, the student should give an answer which is relevant. There is no absolute answer
