It said that the boy and his friends have bought things in the shop twice so they also have a point to say the answer is wrong because if it had said the boy and his friends have gone there twice it would have been correct but the answer is saying the boy alone has been to the shop twice which in a way is wrong because he didn’t go alone he went with his friends. I stand to be corrected if you don’t agree with my point

How come the statement that has a star in Part III Question 28 is wrong? Doesn’t the statement say “I and my friends have been in this shop, we have bought things here twice.” Does it have to be “他们” instead of just “他” in the starred statement? Hope anyone can enlighten me. Thanks in advance!

i think statement says that "we have bought two things here", rather than "we have bought things here twice"
