17 year old casual lankybox watcher here, I am not a super fan or anything, I watch their videos here and there and I really like the energy these guys give off, the KZbin shorts are not all bad, some of them are indeed a little weird, but I would say it gets the job done for little kids, I enjoy watching lankybox’ channel and I definitely think that they’ve got cute little mascots and some nice pieces of merch. I see where people are coming from, but I think that the hate surrounding them is undeserved. I definitely see their content being nostalgic in a couple of years, people just cling to whatever they grew up with. The so called “og brainrot” is probably no better or worse. I think the kids that are watching lankybox will grow up to be normal people. Again some lankybox content is a little weird, but I wouldn’t say that it’s a crime, it’s just them doing things their way. I personally like lankybox. And I don’t think we as today’s kids are necessarily doomed because of the current internet culture.
