As if this drama was tailor made for GG( Lichuan) in real life. The conversations & events that happened til the end made me believe it was. I wonder if Jiao Junyan( Xiao Qiu) watched this drama after GG's death. How did she feel about it? It has been more than 9 years today since these series were filmed. Their love story was so beautiful but at the same time t'was also heart breaking & tragic. Anyway, all the actors & actresses performed excellently. Thank you for sharing this love story to us though t'was tear jerking. Can't get over this. RIP GG!❤️🙏😭

Li Chuan didn't die. There are 2 ending sequence: Original storybook has HE at 23rd mins.ep.38+🎈scene (i.e. both finally married 3y after Xiao Qiu moved to Kunming; Li Chuan received bone marrow transplant 2y later with 1y recovery =3y then Li Chuan appeared at door of Xiao Qiu's house & stayed with her .. cleaned, cooked, chauffered her, designed a new house for them & married as altered/written by Li Chuan. Actually, he didn't alter Xiao Qiu's novel & she didn't send him voice mail. This scenes are not original story. S1 ending after 23mins.ep.38 was altered to OE with HE in S2 (they married & have twins but the sequel are not acted by original actors/GG-JJ or director).
