A real blast from the past. I used to take my 2 wild camping in the Lakes at about your son's age. They're now 31 and 27 and camping is second nature to them. So much so that they keep turning up to take my tent and sleeping bag. Bloody freeloaders ! I promise you that you will treasure this video increasingly as the years role by even through the troublesome teenage years. Keep posting, fellah

Well done Don on the exact measures of milk and water, as well as being a good idea, I may try that with pasta next time. That sky was amazing, the colors were brilliant and what a great time - lapse. I have tried the alcohol stoves before but not a fan to be fair but at least the bairn had a good feed before bed. Good to see the rain did not spoil things and brought back great memories for me, camping with my 2 lads, although, we never got ponies and rainbows lol! Cheers Alan
