This is already one of my favorite songs for Obon. The first time I heard it at our Obon dance practice in Orange County, CA, it brought tears to my eyes. I’m so bad at dancing, but the dance is so meaningful and learnable. This song is so special-the tune and lyrics and your lovely voices and the music. It feels so heart-warming. Danced to this twice with my kids. First at Sacramento, then at Florin. The song so perfectly captures the atmosphere of Obon, and the dance is really moving. Definitely looking forward to doing this more in the future!
