@@小雷伊 "Gangsta" is the name of the show itself, so I'm pretty sure she was talking about the overall show, not just the music. And I just finished watching the series myself and promptly began the manga. I've started from the beginning, so I don't know what the chapters after the anime's end are like yet. But I can say that the anime was absolutely wonderful-so much better than I was expecting. I have a couple of issues (fan service, plus the cliffhanger), but the series had absolutely fascinating characters, an intriguing storyline, and killer action (that last bit surprised me-I came for the drama but the action choreography was top-tier to me). Before the show even ended I felt like I was already missing the characters-I was so attached and hated the thought of having it end. The soundtrack was also neat. My main warning is that the anime ended with a pretty maddening cliffhanger because it never got a second season, but if you're willing to read the manga afterwards, that solves it. (-:

Late reply here but you pretty hit everything on the mark. I grew such a liking to the story and characters especially that I went about to read the manga. The anime ends RIGHT at the start of the Normals vs Twilights saga and things get insane from that point onwards. That being said, the manga is also on a cliffhanger and hasn’t been updated since 2019. 😭 I understand the author needs to take hiatus for health reasons (though she has threaten to not continue to manga due to internet piracy, which unfortunately can’t be helped. It’s inescapable.) At least with the anime, the studio closed down afterwards. At this point, I wouldn’t mind if another studio can reboot the anime, like MadHosue or even Mappa. But, it will never be the case sadly.​@@AhsokaJackson
