Lanvin Eclat D' Arpege Fake vs. Authentic

Hi! I am a fragrance addict! Here is a video comparing a fake Lanvin Eclat D' Arpege versus an authentic one.
I bought the fake one from a Facebook shop selling "US Authentic Tester Perfume". When I joined a Perfume Enthusiast Group in Facebook whose members are perfume/fragrance afficionados and/or legit perfume sellers and collectors, that's where I found out that there are no perfume testers in the original packaging. Those are actually fakes.
The authentic one was bought from FragranceX, a known legit authentic perfume shop.
I hope this video helps people in choosing the right Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege.

I wonder why people buy fakes, its like fooling yourself everytime you spray 🤣 If you cannot afford but love the scent very much then try saving or search the notes and buy something with similar notes. There are lot of brands who dont cost that much that carries thesame scent.

@@duedate2811 like Jared said, sometimes people didn't know if what they bought is fake or original. Other reasons could be like you said, people may not be able to afford the real stuff, but may still want to buy something similar which may not be original. Of course, it wouldn't be the best thing to do because fake perfumes can be dangerous. But nonetheless, there's no need to be judgemental about it. Also, how do you know that some of these people are not saving up to buy the real stuff? Perhaps, they're saving money for more important things than an original perfume. Thankfully, you mentioned that there are brands that sell similar notes that don't cost a lot. Maybe you can recommend which brands they are so that the people who can't afford the real stuff can buy those brands that wouldn't contain harmful ingredients like the fake stuff.

Authentic testers do not come in original packaging. They come in plain white/ brown box with "tester" or "demonstration" labels on the box and bottle. Authentic testers also cost few hundreds less only than the full presentation/ retail. The one being sold in the market which are usually labeled by sellers as "US/SG/Dubai Authentic Testers" are actually fake.
