I was raised as Christian but didn't understand what "Christianity" really meant for me in my life, until such time that I felt empty about everything. I'm 18, quite young but I'm starting to lose way. I'm not suicidal but I feel like I'm so mediocre that I don't fit anywhere. Not religious, not academic, not sporty, can't sing nor dance, can't draw, not good at anything relatively descent for others. I still have friends but always feel alone. But every time I lay down in my bed, I still think about my future and things I want to do. I pray to a God that please "guide me somewhere I belong". Thanks for reading this. You really only need faith that Jesus died and saved you from your sins. Have reassured faith that He loves you, and when you admit your worldly sins to Him, have trust that He will forgive you like a lost son finally came home to his father. Remember that only He knows if you are truly sorry for all the sins you have committed. This is such a wholesome song and wholesome comment section. Yes, I couldn't agree more. When you're too scared of what people will say to you once they knew that unfaithful side of yours, you just have one friend that doesn't mind-that's Jesus. Because he forgives and always gives us chances to go back to Him. Only Him who cares for you that he keeps pursuing you no matter what! 2 years ago.. I locked myself in my basement and surrounded myself in darkness. I couldn’t stop crying, I was so unhappy. I wanted to disappear, I’ve contemplated about taking my life. Somehow, I read the verses with “Blessed are the poor in spirit...” - Matthew 5:3-11” and my tears stopped. I felt this comfort in my heart. I no longer felt guilty and felt warmth inside my heart. I grow up going church to church and when i was 20 i've decided that i didn't want to go on a church anymore. Then, i left my boyfriend (right to do, i wasn't even loving myself) and started going to parties, drink and all sort of things that i didn't do it until that time. But i kept going back to Jesus even if i don't put my foot on a church and recently i came back to Jesus and as always, he do not turn his back on me. Short story. Long caption. Used this caption last year during their world tour, me in my graduation photo, wearing my toga holding a paper with “Lany gra graduate nako. Baka naman may ticket pa kayo” written *translation “Lany I’m already graduating, do you still have ticket?” It went viral, but not enough to be noticed by them. I cried during their 3 day concert here in the Philippines I saved a lot of money from my allowance, and in just a few minutes the tickets are all SOLD OUT. So all i did was to cry because it’s my fucking dream to watch them play live since day 1. To cut it short here’s my caption When "Graduation pic is strong", but "Lany ticket is stronger" There are just certain moments that we want to stay still until we're ready for a brand new memory. Those through "THICK AND THIN" promises and "WHERE THE HELL ARE MY FRIENDS?" lines in times of our so called "HERICANE" or the Exam week. And finishing requirements through "OVERTIME" while saying "BAD, BAD, BAD" and "YEA, BABE, NO WAY" because you feel like a living "DUMB STUFF". Now, it's like I'm riding on a freight train and everything just seems to be a blur of passing moments even the "PANCAKES" under "PINK SKIES". I always wanted to "WALK AWAY" and "RUN" because my "CURRENT LOCATION" is just "SUPER FAR" from home. Soooo, at the end of the day whispering "TAKING ME BACK" when I was "13" with "THRU THESE TEARS" feels like "4EVER!". How can I cherish every moment that seems to move so fast? Just like the selling of "LANY Concert Tickets". That "HURTS" more than the "I DON'T WANNA LOVE YOU ANYMORE" and "THE BREAKUP". "LET ME KNOW" if only we can move things slow and experience the cold "MALIBU NIGHTS" while hearing "LIKE YOU LOTS" and "ILYSB" whispers in the middle of "VALENTINES DAY" with your "PURPLE TEETH". But of course, we probably just want to collect the laughters and happy seconds. Just like collecting "FLOWERS ON THE FLOOR" because everyone thought you're one of those "SO, SOO PRETTY" and "GOOD GIRLS" that were "MADE IN HOLLYWOOD". You won't always understand what other people do, but when you learn that "IT WAS LOVE" in entering College, acceptance and life will be easier by far. Sometimes "IF YOU SEE HER" you may wish that things were different than they are. But I was once told that Success is getting anything you want out life without violating the rights of others.
