I love watching your videos. I watch them every week even though I only come out to Lanzarote once a year. I love Lanzarote and thankfully it is nearly time for our annual trip. Husband and I come out 7th January and stay for just over 8 weeks. Thank you for all the information

Thanks Mike, feeling quite deflated to be home after a fabulous 2 weeks. We got to see the Belenes at Yaiza & Stratvs & were hoping to see Tinajo but sadly we had to come home! Love watching your updates - keeps me going until I can come back.

Thank you for another interesting video We watch lots of videos on Puerto del Carmen in anticipation of our January visit. Have noticed that along the strip there are square blue signs on a pole with white numbers on them. We are intrigued to know what these numbers depict. Can you help?
@LanzaroteInformation7 күн бұрын
They’re used for a number of things, including as meeting points, evacuation points from some accommodation etc.

We were in Costa teguise in October and some British couples had there drinks spiked so be careful
@LanzaroteInformation6 күн бұрын
Wow, that’s scary. Not something we’ve ever come across here, and I can’t see any police report about it from October. Do you have more information? Were you there? were the police contacted?
@Marjorie-hf2ch6 күн бұрын
We were shocked the wife of one couple collapsed on floor and luckily someone on a hotel balcony saw it and helped they were taken to hospital and we're told there drinks had been spoken spiked

They were to be liars would not give any info about bar. They were seen falling down steps the night before. We have lived in Costa Teguise for 11 years and I don't believe them

Do visitors from Republic of Ireland still need to fill in Advanced Passenger Information?
@LanzaroteInformation4 күн бұрын
Advanced passenger information is something you give your airline, and everyone has to do it. Is it something else you’re thinking about?

So you do not mention the main contentious issue regarding these old but newly enforced rules and that is specific bank account details which are to be held for 3yrs, is this fact or fiction?
@LanzaroteInformation6 күн бұрын
@@Tugger4me1 Fiction. I’m guessing you’re reading the British press. You won’t even be asked for your bank account details. The only data passed on to the system is method of payment, so, for example “bank transfer” or “Visa card.”
@pushthebutton46025 күн бұрын
Please Lanzarote no more new laws, we don't like more rules! The whole world bathes in rules! Do like Trump and Musk's "DOGE" Department of Government Efficiency. Away with unnecessary rules!

It’s not just about the registrations at hotels. Don’t forget that the EU wants to treat us as criminals by taking our finger prints.
@LanzaroteInformation6 күн бұрын
Taking your fingerprints isn’t treating you like a criminal. Most countries around the world take your fingerprints and keep them on file. When we moved here 25 years ago, our fingerprints were taken. When you visit the United States, Australia, New Zealand, India and many, many other countries, your fingerprints are taken. I’ve been to those places, and each has my prints. The only people who need to be concerned about it, are criminals.

@@rh9280 That’s the whole point of taking fingerprints. If your prints aren’t at the scene of the crime, you can’t be accused of it, can you? I’m neither sweet nor naive, but I do have a modicum of common sense.
