It’s been almost 2,000 years since the apostle John was instructed by Jesus to write letters to the seven churches mentioned in the book of Revelation. These timeless letters reveal a message of God’s love through the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, identify and provide correction for problems in the church, and offer hope and encouragement for the future.

In September 1976 I responded to Revelation 3:20, since then Jesus is my center of life. I am futher enriched, encouraged and moved by this video about the Lord's message to the Laodecia. I am a Bible teacher in Indonesia. Thank you for the clear explanation of the 7 churches. I could listen all day to these video’s and I praise the Lord Jesus that He knows us and that He is the Victor and Saviour and that He knows so well where we are going through. The message comforted us so much, since my husband is a pastor of a big congregation that lives like the Laodicean people. They do not want to hear about sin, forgiveness, living holy and obedient to the Lord. They are as worldy as their neighbours. But my husband felt a strong calling to pastor this church and we see fruit and we see a lot of people come to repentance and live for Christ. But we also have a lot of difficulties with people that make things very hard for us. People that divide the church, that gossip, that do not want you to talk about sin or repentance. I’m so thankful I have a very faithful husband, he knows the Bible so well and when I hear you preach in these video’s it is like I hear my own husband. So thankful for faithful men like you two.

Back in 76' I was going from London to Borneo overland. I visited all the seven churches and never realized it. Back then there was no travel in Turkey to speak about. No postcard stands so I had all the time with no people around. Now I've been reborn again with a circumcised heart and wonder how revealing the importance. We are on the last church and second half of the fifth seal.

The seals don't start until after the Rapture occurs. We won't be here for them. They are part of the wrath of God being poured out on the earth for the rejection of Christ. The church is not under that wrath.

@@ourdailybread I want to go on a trip to the Holy Lands. I lost my dear husband 6 months ago. He loved the Book of Acts and the Apostle Paul. He was a good man always studying scripture, reading his Bible and taking notes. I knew he loved Acts and I have read it because I wanted to see why he loved it so much. He died unexpectedly and we never made our trip. I would go with others from a church if I can find anybody going. He was a great example to me of how not to take the Word for granted!

In the church of laodicea, Jesus is teling us to live for him. We are not to live for money, or the works of our own hands. We are to drop everything and everyone for him...to have Zeal for the Father's house. I pray we all lay our lives down for the Lord in yeshuas mighty name. This is the celebration of the feast of tabernacles. That the Lord came and tabernacled with us and then went to sit at the right hand of our Father, and that they both will return to tabernace with us , forever !! Amen 🙏

Thank you for this series, very informative, eye-opening and well presented. It got me thinking how we at times speak with admiration of the great works the early church did by the power of the Holy Spirit. And how we tend to overlook the fact that they had their own share of challenges from opposition from the government, opposition by the people to idolatry and immorality which seems MAJOR from this series. These letters also reflect the current state of the church today. BUT, there is hope! We can take comfort in the promises that Jesus lays out as He calls the churches to repentance, as well as in churches like Smyrn and Philly which never seemed to have compromised! May God help us🙏

Christians have always had to face temptations and overcome withdrawn, challenges coming from worlds secular and atheist cultures...and if christians stand still , untouched till the end and win, they will gain their step to Heaven.
