Yes, Between Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang, there are A LOT OF TUNNELS. The Train literally goes In and Out, and In and Out and In ... Not So Many Tunnels Between Vientiane and Vang Vieng, though. Perhaps the land between Vientiane and Vang Vieng is rather flat, while from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang is rather hilly. 😊

you're absolutely correct. I actually covered the stretch from Vientiane to Vang Vieng in my previous vlog and it was exactly as you've said! :)
