Good video showing various parts of the village life as you tour the village...also glad that you were able to see your grandma/grandpa while they were still healthy.

I've seen other ethnic groups and some even native Laotians themselves in Laos, and I have to say compare the Hmong-Laos to any others over there, the Hmong-Laos by far fare better than any of them. And I believe it is due to all the help from the Hmong-Americans here financially supporting them.

I love seeing life in rural SEA...just finished a trip to Cambodia and I already miss it. My next trip I would love to visit Laos but don't speak the language. What you're speaking sounds so much like Chinese. I forgive you for the crappy camera work because this was uploaded in 2014...technology has improved so much in 4 years!

he's not an albino if he has brown eyes..for him to be albino he has to have pink eyes...if he has brown eyes then he's just blonde hair and recessive gene..
@Lulu78987 жыл бұрын
dablaug ntxim ntxu People with albinism can have hazel, brown or blue colored eyes and sometimes have eyes that are reddish or violet in color. There is a common misconception that all people with albinism have red eyes, which is only true in some cases. Usually Africans and Asians have darker eyes than Caucasian albinos. Most albinos have blue eyes.

My auntie and some of her kids have blonde hair and hazel eyes. But they have Hmong eyes and Hmong physical facial structures. It's interesting.

Is there any Albino Lao and other ethnics too or just Hmong?
@monkeybanana92696 жыл бұрын
Not all of them are albino. There is recorded history of how some Caucasians crossed over to Asia and settled there mixing with the native people there. Hmong is one group but there are a few others too in Asia that have blond hair or light brownish hair and blue eyes. They all tell similiar stories of having once in history ancestors of Caucasian bloodline that also coincide with some Causasian records. There's been many documentations of this.
@lifeyang24 жыл бұрын
I don't think Lao people carry the recessive trait. The Hmong/Miao use to live in what is today the region of Northern China. Hmong has a long history way back before Jesus was on earth. This recessive gene was more common then to the Hmong.

They are still very poor just like the rest of the ethnic Lao and other ethnic tribes. At the moment the government does not have enough money to build it's infrastructures yet.... Since Lao is landlocked, it doesn't have any ports which would have helped it tremendously. One day they will figure things out. At there are no wars anymore and people can live peacefully how they have been in the past.

you make it sound so bad they live like people , its no better in USA poor, in fact its worse with no family, and electricity ? now no one can afford in millions of homes, does no good, id rather farm, have wood and live simple with people and a village than how i , and many do in poverty USA.
