Hey mate. All good. Hope all is well with you too. It all depends on which country's passport you hold. Even though I was holding an Indian passport they didn't ask me any documents at all. But to be safe, keep your return/onward flight ticket and booking information on hand.

Hi Brother. Thank you. They usually don’t ask for hotel booking for your entire time in Laos for the VOA. But it’s safe to book for 2 to 3 days somewhere and show them if they ask you. Btw if you’re going to Vientiane for some work then fine. Otherwise there’s not much to see in Vientiane. If you have two days time, then take the speed train or mini van to vang vieng and spend there.

Hi. Yes. We Indians have VOA and you’ll be asked at the checkin as well as the immigration and just confirm that it’s VOA and you’ll be good to go.

Can you go to Laos with an on-arrival visa from China with a Bangladeshi passport?

As per the official website, people holding a Bangladesh passport cannot avail visa on arrival. You have to go to the Lao embassy on where you live and obtain a visa. But you can enter Laos from china.

Hey! sorry I don't follow Tamil. But, would you know if it is okay to cross the land border from Laos to Cambodia? (if I have a e visa for Cambodia) I have seen Indians say that they faced a lot of harassment at the road borders?

I have not done the land border crossing from Lao to Cambodia. So can’t really comment on it. I’ve heard that there were some issues between the two governments and travellers(not just Indians) faced a lot of issues during land border crossing.
