I know everyone always likes to joke about how some paticular instance "cured racism" or "cured American relations" with some other country but you can tell this really has a profound affect on people. It truly does make people that may be a foreigner in America think a little differently about Americans when they find people that show true interest in a country in culture in the strongest way by learning their language. You truly are a positive for us all when you interact with people and it makes me proud to know people like you exist. Keep up the amazing work!!!

@@Iuvmeg i recommend “zulu lessons with thando” and “zamani zulu”, the first gives nice lessons on complex zulu grammar and the second has storybooks with text and even some conversations to teach u how to speak as well as help you hear them applied. reading zulu is actually also not very difficult, since you already have a nice comprehension of english words and u understand zulu then u should learn how to read quite quickly. but for reading i also recommend “isolezwe” which is a magazine website that writes lots of articles in zulu, and u can use it to practice your reading. i also recommend “nalibali” which has very simple stories in zulu, and even some in ndebele, that you can read. im willing to practice zulu with you if you want as well, i’ve always wanted someone to speak it with so but yeah i hope those resources help, ngithemba ukuthi ukukhuluma kwakho kwesiZulu kuthuthukisa ngokushesha :)

You know why the Ethiopian guy suspected you to be Ethiopian in disguise? 😁 There is a community/tribe in Ethiopia called Gambella who are as tall as you but they have darker skin like South Sudanese. So he was like, he might be a Gamella dude with a fair skin tone😂
@fabrice8940
@fabrice8940 3 жыл бұрын
Lmao as Ethiopian there is no way you confuse Moses for A Gambelan person...then you would confuse Moses for most of South Sudan
@abdinasirmohamed2238
@abdinasirmohamed2238 3 жыл бұрын
@@fabrice8940 FYI the Dinka and Nuer tribes of South Sudan & the Anywaa tribe of Gamebella region also known as Anuak/Anyuak depending on how you pronounce it are actually almost identical, they have the same features, height and skin tone. A person like me who lived with both communities can distinguish between them but a common person will have a hard time to identify who is who?! But in Moses's case i was referring to the height wise. He is 6+ and the vast majority of the said community as 6+ too.
@fabrice8940
@fabrice8940 3 жыл бұрын
@@abdinasirmohamed2238 I get what you’re trying to say but the skin tone of Moses is not really confusable with that of those communities. There are tall slim/similar skin tone in black men in America (where I live now)... I would say your argument is slightly better if you compare him to a very tall Ethiopian/Eritrean/Somali with similar skin tone/beard than a South Sudan person.
@abdinasirmohamed2238
@abdinasirmohamed2238 3 жыл бұрын
@@fabrice8940 i don't how you describe Ethiopian!! Last time i checked Gambella's were ethiopians. Not all south Sudanese are slim though. And gamebellas are far from being slim or skinny. And moses is that big/huge in body size too. I didn't say he has the same skin tone as Gambella though, unless you misunderstood my statement. I have said "A light skinned Gambella" which is rare to find. So my case was the hight. Anyway, it's all about the hight and no community in Ethiopia is as tall as Gambella.
@fabrice8940
@fabrice8940 3 жыл бұрын
@@abdinasirmohamed2238 You are right, I made mistake in my statement. Gambelans are 100% Ethiopian and it is not fair that although I compared their physical likeness to South Sudan it is does not make them Un-Ethiopian. And yes in that case that it’s just height you’re you’re right. Moses if you see his face is also a little unique amongst African Americans which are not homogenous but have many similarities...
