Got mine and i faced some af issues when i take photos of close objects.. When i set manual focus it works great but when i trust AF it makes the sharp area a bit in front of where the sharp point was set

Is that so? You can do a Lens Calibration (focus fine tuning) in the Setting menu. That will solve the problem. Please Google ‘How to Fine tune Focus’ and you will get many instructional videos. 👍

@@PIXELVIILAGE even on Sony mirrorless cam? I found that: Mirrorless lenses don't need microadjustment - the AF sensor is on the sensor itself, so there is never any misalignment.

Don't say there is no distortion. There is a ton of it. It is just rectilinear. The heads look pin heads in the center, and the sides are stretched like crazy

In photography, distortion means "optical distortion". The "stretch" u referring to is a "perspective distortion" that happens when u project a 3D world to a 2D plane....... As for architecture, landscape, etc. most of the time you don't want optical distortion as everything would be bent even a lens is not a fisheye ( many "rectilinear" lenses are actually more in between of a rectilinear and fisheye lens), so it is remarkable for this lens to have distortion-free (almost)
