Hi Rachel! Your creating is wonderful! Your right , so many options,opportunities and supplies can work in this tri-fold lap-book. I just wanted to tell you to take some foil wrap (thick)and run it through your trimmer several times. Until you notice the ease of cutting your foil. If you don't have thick foil, just fold it in half or three times. It seems like your tiny blade is dull enough that you keep ripping your paper. I do this with my trimmers and it works every time. I can now cut old book pages and magazine paper. Have a great day! ~Liz~

G'day Rachel, from Downunder. This is great inspiration to try myself. Thanks for the tip of the small stitches to hold the signature together. I love sewing and sewing them in with my machine is going to be my new go-to when using thin cardboard etc for covers :)

Hi Angela, you'd be amazed the amount of things i hold on and always look at my trash because i throw it out with my junk journal eyes 😂 thank you so much for watching my videos and leaving multiple lovely comments, that helps inspire me to keep going xx

This is great. I have been collecting bedding packaging and Primark bags, this is a good idea. So will attempt to use up my paper scraps the same. Loads of Amazon packages as well. I like the way you have speeded up the video with a voice over. Fun to watch.

Hi Rachel - Love watching your thought process as you create these lapbooks. I’m a new subbie. Came over from Chantale’s channel. It remarkable how you just add these things and it turns out wonderful. I would have a mess!!! Will have to try this method but only after watching you. Thank you for the inspiration and showing how you lay out these pages. Awesome job!

Rachel, I just finished my interactive journal, based on yours here. HOWEVER, I nearly broke my machine (and #16 needle) trying to sew through my 2nd signature, so I took out 3 scrapbook papers and I was able to sew it in. I'll send you the link as soon as I upload it to You Tube. While i LOVE making interactive journals (this is my 3rd one), they ARE a LOT OF WORK!!!!! Ha, ha!

And, I have a Brother PRW machine. I've never had problems until today sewing papers.
@stitchwithrachel6 жыл бұрын
Omg! I am glad that your machine is okay. Urgh bet that must have been annoying!.. i am sorry about that. I usually only sew through a couple of pages plus the cover when I do it. I do look forward to seeing it x
