That's highly unrealistic. There's no way the government's gonna pay for an armed guard on every single bus & train to be on there 24/7. The public transport system probably doesn't make very much these days as it is, with half of the "passengers" that get on being tweeekers and homeless that DONT pay the fare.

Nearly 72 hours after the crime and the arrest, but still no mugshot of the suspect. And no mention of his priors (if any). The photo of "Lamont Campbell" posted in the info for this video is a different Lamont Campbell, who was arrested for and convicted of murder in Michigan in 2011 at the age of 17 (and exonerated in 2023), which means he would be 30 years old now (not 51). Whoever posted that photo is liable to be sued by the Michigan Lamont Campbell for defamation of character. Why has LAPD or DA George Gascon not released a mugshot of the suspect in this case?

The suspect probably didn't want to pay the money that was needed for him to ride the bus, an argument probably occured, resulting in this. Seen a lot of people wanting free rides on the bus, but thankfully it didn't escalate like this. R.I.P. to Anthony.

I urge everyone reading this to look up Steve Gregory (he is a top notch local journalist that does actual news). He fought to get a video released that is Metro crime. You NEED to look this up if you live in LA and more particularly if you ride any public transportation but be prepared to be very triggered if you are sensitive to seeing any type of violence. I used to park at Universal and ride the train down to Staples a few times a year (maybe twice) and I never felt it was particularly safe. I cannot carry (although I do have a cc) because of metal detectors. I would never ride one again.

An article by NBC said the police used stun bags and distraction devices before entering the bus to rescue the folks on board. If you want to believe the article, it said the police found the man dead from multiple gunshots. Believe what you want.
