This ford explorer was a test car so it has a "valor" light bar also a test ford Taurus with the valor light bar was also tested (and used in some operations) it has the dodge charger (I think from 2012 ) and a test Chevy Tahoe for the lapd fleet also has this light bar

@@maroon9980 He's talking about vehicles that were purchased before 2016. LAPD bought a bunch of 2013 models from different manufacturers to test out. That's where most of the marked Tauruses and Chargers came from.

It's a test car for the lapd fleet when they started buying ford explorers, ford taurus and dodge chargers en masse they did tests with this light bar but they continue to use the arjent light bar because they have a supply of them and the The company that produced the light bar stopped producing it (there is a Ford Taurus with the Valor, a Dodge Charger and a Chevy Tahoe but they are rare and most of the times you can see them are in images)

it was a test vehicle for the lapd fleet when the lapd started using ford explorers (this also happened with the ford Taurus, the dodge charger and the chevy tahoe) that's why this ford explorer has this light bar
