In Viva Pinata AU, he is, actually- he fills the role of Dastardos in the Viva Pinata games(VP!MK wasn't always evil though, that's what the part at 2:18-2:43 is about). Completely understand if you didn't know that though because this is a really niche AU lol

SALT HI ITS ME STEAM and i just wanted to say oh my god. oh myy god. this animatic is something permanently imprinted into my brain and whenever i'm listening to laplace's angel, this always pops up into my mind, especially the "nearly fold your skeletons but still can't shut the closet door" part! the way you draw and animate is so distinct I could recognise it with my right eye only. the animated is breathtaking and it's really admirable how you managed to capture so much movement, emotion, just.. with like, what, 4 colours if i'm counting correctly? this will forever remain one of my favourite animatics of all time and i'm so, so glad you gave me sneak peeks sometimes. you're incredibly skilled and i admire your art an indescribable amount. love you dude!

What applications do you use for the whole animating process?

I animate everything on FireAlpaca, and then export all the frames individually, where I edit them to music in Davinci Resolve. Both programs are free :]

It's a cross between Viva Pinata (Xbox 360 farming game(s) with optional lore) and Kirby! Meta Knight plays the role of Dastardos, who breaks sick pinata in VP. There's a LOT of explanation to do, but I am not the AU's creator (although I am very good friends with him and I know a lot about the AU) so I'm not one to explain it fully- in summary though it's a cross between two very good game franchises :]
