This is related to person's energy levels. Since Laplus needs a lot of energy to be Extroverted , she spends a lot of it on stream, then in her free time it might feel difficult to be Louder or Even enthusiastic as a form of Energy conservation. The vtubing mixture of kayfabe, alter-ego acting, and "Adam Westing" is an odd thing. The line between where the character,or affected personality, and the person, or the "natural" personality is often blurry. Now obviously different people land in different places on that gradient. La Plus obviously lands much closer on "character" side of it. And someone like Calli lands closer on the "natural" side of it in terms of personality, but _,strictly_ maintains the idea that the fictional persona character is the one stream. In other words, Calli maintains a one of the strongest kayfabe, but feels like she among those who are acting the least. It's just an interesting dynamic that arises, to me at least.
