Put your monitor on the center and use it as your main and put the laptop on the right. Not only it will help hide the cables but you will also play in a better screen

Just cuz the screen is bigger doesnt always mean its better, maybe he uses the laptop screen because it has a higher refresh rate than the monitor on the right. Also maybe he uses the monitor on the right but he just placed the keyboard and mouse facing the laptop.

The pc is ideapad l340 which has 60hz and 1920x1080 specs. Also trash colors. But that acer monitor is least 75hz and better colours.

yes. the computer drives the games, and puts an output into the monitor, which then shows whats happening in the game. That means you also have to have a monitor to use a desktop pc. Laptops can be used without a monitor, because they have their own screen built in
