@shweta verma don’t worry about time, aap jitni der tk merji direct power pr apna laptop chala sakte ho but make sure ki aapka charger Inverter wale Socket se connect ho. Kyuki agr by mistake koi electricity cut/fluctuate hua toh aapka laptop direct off ho jyga.

There was no visible damage to my battery. Let's proceed. DAMN this was unbelievable. I had given up on my laptop lo-o-o-o-ng ago. I followed your instructions ZAM, POW, Zi-i-i-ng my laptop is working as well if not better than it did before the second battery's functionality faded away. Wish I had been smart enough to check KZbin out before I tossed the first. Very good! Thanks! The thing is that when we are putting a lot of effort in making such video, why we left it incomplete. You should have shown the last part where you followed the necessary steps, inserted the battery again and then you should show the battery percentage, charging, not charging, plugged in not charging and what happened the to battery option in device manager. That would have the complete step.

Smiling Piano: If you're saying this doesn't fix it -- that the battery won't charge after doing this, then the battery is bad and needs to be replaced (if the charger works, as you indicate). The good news about this trick is that it resolves software issues re the battery calibration, so you ONLY replace the battery if it actually goes bad (and they all do, at some point). Given that some people buy new batteries and they STILL won't charge until this trick is done (per various comments on such videos), this is a BIG DEAL -- because at that point you're completely stuck without this trick or a tech. to fix your laptop (maybe charging a lot).

If you have a laptop that always says that its at 0% and its not charging even if its plugged in, you most likely need a battery replacement; This most likely happens because the battery is way too old meaning that its no longer has a battery life (this means it dies as soon as you unplug it). This usually happens after 5 years and may happen before its at 5 years. After about 4 years, if you notice the battery dies abnormally fast, (it dies much earlier than usual) then consider replacing the battery because that's a sign that the battery is getting old and will soon completely die out. My friend had a problem with his phone battery, it would die in an unpredictable way because it would either last 3 minutes or 2 seconds; He charged it to 100% and it hit 1% and turned off the second the charger fell out of the outlet, after that the charger unplugged at 18% and lasted for about 3 minutes before turning off. ㅤ

So according to me now your laptop’s battery cells are almost damaged, i think you should consider to replace your laptop’s battery.

Dell D600 battery (C1295) With a jumper between Ground and the SYS PRESENT pin I can measure voltage and discharge the battery using a R/C charger /discharger. However I can not charge at the out most pins. No current flow goes into the battery. If I put the battery back in the laptop it will charge it full again. When your battery is already working and calibrating, you can do a further trick to enhance its capacity. You have connect it to a car charger, and charge phones with the laptop battery after shutdown. You have to repeat it 5x. The phone charging will discharge the jammed 10.4 V ampere, that resides in the battery, this extra minimum makes sure, that your battery is not an extended battery. After doing this, some regular discharges will fail, until the battery recovers. That is caused by the stable 2 h charging. Balanced mode refreshes the battery.

Then on Taskbar page scroll down and in Notification Area section click on the link “Select which icons appear on the taskbar”. 4. Then switch on the Power icon button. Power icon will appear on your Taskbar.

@ Soumya Prakash Verma, this all happens due to the problem in either software or hardware. # Software problem: due to any pending windows update, outdated drivers etc. That’s why to solve this problem we make sure that there is no pending updates of windows and then we simply do reset/reinstall our laptop’s battery driver. # Hardware problem: due to any damaged part like charging adapter, charging port etc. Or due to the damage of laptop’s battery. When laptop’s battery cells are damaged then their recharging capability no longer exist. So to solve this problem we have to replace our laptop’s battery.

@Shahid Ullah, please make sure that the battery you replaced is the same battery as it was before. Firstly you should put your laptop on charging for a while because new battery may be completely empty.

Try to remove the battery (don't plug the charger, just remove the battery.) Then hold down the power button for about 30 seconds. Put your battery back in and connect your laptop to the charger and it should open. That's what I do all the time lol

No, it didn't worked bro. My laptop charges the battery, when it's shut down or sleep mode. When I turned it on, it doesn't charge.
