I have two economy model new laptops where setting the operating system in the BIOS South Bridge section caused a black screen. Both do the exact same thing. Is this the only way to reset the BIOS? I am trying not to tamper with the hardware just because the BIOS has a useless setting in it.

My own situation with two laptops showing black only, ended up with switching off the laptops, opening them up, unplugging the batteries for several minutes and then plug them back in and close up. The only operating system apparently supported was Windows, but the laptop had MacOS, Android, Linux and Windows on the list.

The same goes in bios for 5 seconds and puff again no post no response,black screen and only power led on. Sam issue with adapter,no battery ecc. Cmos tested and has good power. Any ideas or suggestions to go on ? I understand that issues is on the MB directly, what to look?

Hello, I did a Bios update for a Lenovo laptop model lenovo v15 g2 alc ryzen 5-5500u with the application from the official website, all the instructions on how to load appeared and it got stuck, the package spins and there are 3 lit keys, namely, caps and num are missing, I pressed the Acer reset button, I removed everything from it and it still does the same, I also saw your version on the video, I can't do it :(((
