I don't wanna sound biased but Lenovo's service has detroriated drastically in the past few years. I bought a Legion 5i 4 years back, and its graphics card died within 3 yearsof use. I regularly got it serviced and maintained it. When I went for the service centre, turns out the official service centre was permanently closed for some reason and the authorized service centre took forever to try and repair the issue and was still unable to fix it. Now LOQ's motherboard issue and a lot of people complaining about how Lenovo's service has not been looking into the matter properly makes me want to avoid all Lenovo products no matter how good they are on paper. I don't trust lenovo's after sales service nor do I trust the quality of the products and I don't think they have changed anything to solve these issues either. However these are my personal opinions based on my experience, if you had a better experience with Lenovo, you can obviously choose their products again, its your choice after all. I just wanted to share my experience with the people who are gonna buy since they should know what to expect from Lenovo.

October 2023 I bought lenovo ideapad slim 5 with 2 yrs accidental damage protection. Unfortunately I slipped via scooty while coming home back and my laptop was damaged highly. LENOVO denied for covering it under accidental damage protection. Imagine buying new laptop and for just in case to protect your investment you decide to take an insurance offered by company itself and not getting it's claim. These conditions are never disclosed even after asking to the salesperson they assure you customers problems will be solved in any case. I am a student and I don't know how would I afford to pay these payments again. What was my benefit of buying an insurance if this was going to happen.

I bought an ASUS TUF i7 12th gen RTX 4060 laptop last year in July from an offline store in Kolkata. After just 1 year 7 days, the laptop went dead. It doesn't power on nor is able to get charged. On going to Asus service center, they said the motherboard needed to be replaced due to a faulty EC/IO chip in the motherboard. And they are charging about 45000/- for the motherboard replacement. (Since the laptop went dead just 7 days after the warranty ended) Extremely disappointed with Asus TUF series laptop and would advise not to buy them for now..

Instead of Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 you can choose Lenovo Ideapad pro 5i which is available at same price. I have purchased it 2 months ago and using it right now. It has core ultra 9 and better 2.8k oled display with 120hz refresh rate. Also it has 84 whr big battery which gives around 7-8 hours of backup which is quite good considering ultra 9. Also it has more ports and a full size sd card reader. All in all it is better than yoga slim 7 in every aspect.

Why didn't you recommend legion slim 5 rtx 4060 for 1.15 lakhs or the 1.1 lakhs for the 512 gb version. I would NEVER recommend a LOQ for more than 1 Lakh, it just doesn't make sense when you can get a legion. The legions are also better than ROGs at any price point above 1 lakh
