Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKLShGCBhLGJlZY Her italian version is also amazing. Juste une chose ,prépare des mouchoirs pour la chanson je t'aime, lara à était très ému par son public ,j'en dis pas plus . Sache juste que ce n'est que le début de ton aventure avec lara ,les donnes tout le temps la même émotion, par ça voix ,par son corps et son visage, quand elle chante elle est dans un nautre monde et sache que lara a sorti des chanson encore en 2020 et qu'elle fais encore des concert. Le véritable auteur de la chanson "Adagio" n'est pas authentiquement établi, bien que l'on sache que la musique a été écrite par Remo Giazotto sur la base d'un petit fragment de notation musicale trouvé dans l'une des églises et appartenant à Tomaso Albinoni. Les auteurs du texte sont nombreux - il a été écrit par différentes personnes depuis 1960. La première interprète de la chanson était la chanteuse néerlandaise Lisbeth Liszt, elle a chanté cette chanson en 1966. Plus tard, la chanson a été interprétée par différents chanteurs avec des paroles différentes et avec des titres de chansons différents. La version finale, qui sonne actuellement, a été écrite par Lara Fabian en collaboration avec le producteur Rick Ellison et enregistrée sur un disque intitulé "Lara Fabian" en 1999 déjà comme la chanson "Adagio". Voici l'histoire de la chanson - presque un roman d'aventure.
