Hello. I just want to say how interesting is how people all around the world has just discovered Lara Fabian in 2020, since she is VERY FAMOUS in France (top 10 best selling artist there), in Canada she is HUGE among Shania Twain and Celine Dion (Lara is a winner of hundreds of awards there), she is also the greatest selling and awarded artist in Belgium (where she was born). Lara actually is fluently in 5 languages, composes her songs in many languages as well. She has already recorded in 12 languages and sang live in all of them. Lara has more than 10 years of tranning in the Royal Conservatory of Belgium (she studied there from 8 to 18 years), also she never stopped having vocal (bel canto/erudict) classes since then, she is very professional and confident in evrything she does. She has been singing this song live since 1990 (30 years now) and she keeps the same stamine and emotion. When she sits and plays piano, many songs just comes out her mind and heart. Such a talented woman. When she travels to Italy she only speaks in Italian, in Canada she speaks in French and English, in Latin America she speaks perfectly Spanish as a native. She is almost a genius, also she is able to switch languages easily, like she uses to give interviews in 2 or 3 languages at the same time, the same when she is composing and singing live, she has many bi/tri lingual songs. I'm 31 and I Just met her 21 years ago, what you just watched here is nothing compared to what she uses to do in every concert since 1988. For exemple, she uses to sing the high part of the song Je Suis Malade (which means "I'm sick" um French) with out mic( 100% acappela) in HUGE places (over 9000 people inside), . She is known for her master resonance, perfect pitch, fenomenous breathing control and of course to putting her heart out in every single performance she delivery to us. Even a Happy Birthday sang by hers is emotional and sounds crystal clear. She also holds notes from C5 to Eb5 over 15 segunds using perfect resonance and support. Her vocal range live goes from D3 to G6 with perfect support. Also she composes 90% of her songs in 4 languages. When singing Lara can reach your eyes even if the camera is dar away from her, she look at you behind the camera, it's amazing! She Lerned from the best erudict teachers from Belgium and Italy. You touched on something that I don't hear people commenting on quite so early. You're right, she has such amazing stage presence. She's one tiny lady on a big stage with an orchestra and grand piano behind her and she is owning the stage. I haven't read all the comments, yet, and maybe I'll just be repeating what someone else has said. This song was written by Lara Fabian and Igor Krutoy. She can embody any song she sings but when they are her songs it's extra special, I think. Also, I think it's really interesting that this was your choice for your first Lara Fabian song. It's a great song, obviously, it's just not usually the first one people choose and I think that is cool. I hope you will listen to more Lara because she just gets better as you realize just how much she can do and all the feelings she can so easily and generously emote.

Congrats for this excellent review ! Apart from her great human and heart qualities and beeing an absolute and celestial diva, Lara is a beautiful soul. There is a beautiful song to react where she sings in Russian, so powerful and emotional “Love is like a dream” or "Любовь похожая на сон". It's from the same concert.

She also sings that song in Russian, and it's amazing, believe me 😍 Maybe you heard this song from Dimash. I loved that you reacted to this song Tauri. Why Igor Krutoy was playing the piano for this song is because he wrote the music to it and Lara wrote the lyrics. Nice reaction Tauri. Lara is so underrated...she has an incredible voice. She could have become as famous as Celine Dion or Mariah Carey, but she couldn't make it in the USA at the time because Celine's staff did everything possible for Lara to fail, as both Celine & Lara were in the same record company, Celine's staff didn't want a big rival for her. Lara Fabian made this statement public very recently in Canada. Though, Lara has always loved, admired & respected Celine, she would love to sing a duet with her, she even wrote a letter to her via a song, but the latter has never replied to her, I guess Celine's staff don't want this to happen for some reasons. :( Whatever, Lara is in her own league.
