Céline est obligé de pousser en chantant par le nez, désolé ce n'est pas naturelle, pour être en voix aigu et c'est son charme à elle et que j'aime bien aussi. Et Lara chante par la gorge pour pouvoir atteindre la partie mezzo soprano et c'est son charme à elle. toutes d'eux ne peuvent être comparer par leur style. This is not the first time I read about Lara copying Celine.I disagree with this.I'm a big fan of both & I'm very proud of it.Both of them are passionate singers,but they express themselves differently and that's why I don't accept that Lara sings with/from/for her soul and Celine doesn't.Lara's voice is "deep" and Celine's is like a crystal!Both are unique and special.I would prefer to hear them singing together like Whitney and Mariah did.Celine and Lara could make the most perfect duet ever!

usually with a few exeptions Lara is better with original material but with covers it's Celine. Celine has a unique way of transporting the words without the need to be really understood by the listener. Or more simle, Lara here sing more the melody and Celine the words. @@sensy0174 Le succès est purement marketing. Céline a eu la chance d'avoir des compositeurs a succès derrière elle et un excellent manager. Sony a complétement foiré le marketing de Lara aux US aka la plus grande et influente industrie musicale au monde. Sans mentionner le fait que c'était la période où elle a sombré dans un grave désordre alimentaire, qu'elle avait des problèmes avec Afanassieff (ce qui a dû avoir une énorme influence) etc... Lara est reconnue par ses pairs pour avoir écrit et co-composé certaines de plus belles chansons qui existent et ne soyons pas de mauvaise fois, on sait très bien que Céline n'a pas ce qu'il faut pour écrire et composer des chansons comme le fait Lara. J'ai été fan de Céline pendant des années et il faut être réaliste...Lara a étudier la composition et est très littéraire, elle a de solides bagages et a créée/co-créée probablement une centaine de chansons. Ne comparons pas l'incomparable. Céline une très bonne chanteuse et c'est déjà bien.

For the vocals, Celine born gifted, but she also was prepared and was coached since she started her career at 12yo by coaches. Lara tried to be famous (in the USA) but failed, like I said not everybody can be Celine. But no hating on Lara I think she really has a very very good voice (sometimes awesome in some performances)

Her version is better than Céline's. Her phrasing is much more artistic and besides, it makes much more sense in terms of how you would "say" these words. This isn't a power ballad for the singer to scream her lungs out just for the sake of it and that's the point she makes. She shows here and there she can belt out a couple of notes, but she doesn't make the song about that, which is what Céline does most of the time (and which I also love).
