Is she talking about Alzheimer's? Because she says that her aunt is affected by it. But I think it's her mother Louisa who has ALS. She has even written a song on it "L'oubli". I'm confused. Any info?

It's about ALS...actually the opposite of Alzeimers. With ALS, the mind works, but the body does not. With Alzeimers, the body works, but memory and the mind falls apart. If you want a wonderful song about dealing with Alzeimers, I suggest you watch Glen Campbell's "I'm not gonna miss you". He was suffering from Alzeimers and was the last real song he ever recorded....in the middle of the disease that finally took his life. Memorable.
