But I do understand that Lara is mischievous enough to say in in different meaning (iirc the theory was she'd search for the hero who would appear years later according to the prophecy and they would be off to fight hitogami. I know she didn't mean to say it as marriage/dating, but I also remember she said that to give Rudeus peace of mind, since he won't be there to see it)

It's more heartwarming than what's said. Ever since lara was born, she was a very quite baby. Not crying at all or emoting. This actually caused a kinda doubt on roxy on being a mom. So when lara, who for all those years, finally spoke, and it was about not being left by Roxy, all while crying, it finally gave roxy the confidence of being a mother to lara

You know, there is something that always bothers me about colored ilustrations in mushoku, and thats roxys hair color. On top of being kinda inconsistent is not even the right color, is way to blue. Her hair is suppoosed to be a liittle green with the right light, just like that art of the redundancy, and the anime took the deep blue roxy hair and that makes me a little mad. Dammit im too invested in this series man...

@@smookypooch the main problem was Aisha being 26 at the time. Lara thought they'd make her translate for them which is why she kept Quiet. Rudy wasn't happy but he respected his daughters decision. Lara found it easier to communicate with Telepathy so she hardly spoke to her own family normally. She did get along well with the people in her mom's village tho she was afraid Roxy and Rudy were going to leave her there so she made sure to stick close to them which surprised Roxy since she thought her daughter would love being in a village with Telepaths.

Fun fact Roxy cannot use her telepathy because somebody purposely made it so she could not use her telepathy so she would end up with Rudy because if Roxy was able to use her telepathy she would’ve never left her village she would’ve never met Rudy and that a mess up the timeline real good get it timeline that’s right somebody was doing some interference
