The key to deciphering Les and Mcvay is identifying what they are not willing to say and why. They appreciate all the vets but realize they are creating a new window with rising players (defense, Puka, etc.) They love the vets but it has to fit economically with their plan. Thats what I got out of this.

I'd love to get Tyler Warren, but he's probably not likely to be there at 26. I guess as long as it's one of the big needs, CB, ILB, OT, WR, TE, it doesn't really matter who. But imagining Tyler Warren, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua on the field together... How magical that would be.
