Laravel- Form Validation & Customizing Error Messages using Laravel | Validation | Laravel Basics

Laravel has a very efficient and prominent feature of providing validations. This video first discusses about the importance of validations in web development and then about server side validations.
Validations in laravel are already provided within validation.php file like email, required, min (minimum characters allowed), max (maximum characters allowed), lte (less than equal) etc.
Also one can customize the error messages which are predefined in laravel by updating the update array in validation.php file.

Thanks for your video mam. Really useful, simple and clear explanation . I follow the steps, which u have given. But in custom area in validation.php if write for the field "start", 'start '=> [ 'required' => ' Need to give start time', 'min'=> ' minimum three characters needed for start time', ], but i do not get the answer. Will you please help me where could i make mistake? I got the error if i give less than three characters as well as more than 3 characters.
