Why is it that the Fafnir animatronic from 1924 looks SO much better than the Fafnir puppet in this movie, made 30 years later!?

this!. The head movement of this dragon look so weird and the body looks like some cloth on frame. And fritz lang dragon have good leg with decent movement 😅

"Pauvre dragon" C'est Fafnir. Le nain le plus orgueilleux et cupide de tous. Il a volé tout l'or des nains et terrifie les environs, ça lui valu la peine de devenir un dragon. Puis, tu m'excusera, mais je trouve ça bien fait pour un film italien des années 50.
