The UniKlamp (UK) is available in clamping widths of 160-1000 mm and achieves a clamping force of up to 150 kg. The body clamps are available in 2 versions. On the one hand with fixed head (KRE) in clamping widths of 300-2500 mm and on the other hand with variable head (KREV) in clamping widths of 1000-2500 mm. Pads keep falling off and one of the clamps had the handle come all the way out. The take up auger needs to be a little longer.

I am thinking very strongly about getting some of these next weekend. I have a question though. The little clips that are supposed to raise the panels above the actual clamp to help from getting glue on the metal,, how does that not just make things misalign unless you have enough of them to go across the whole length of the panel? It seems like it would just be a couple of bumps for the panel. Can you explain?

Hi Brad, you got it absolutely right. It is that the glue does not touch the rail but also to protect sensitive surfaces from the serration of the rail. Also it is not to damage a surface if you use a pair of clamps to put a bigger workpiece inside and another pair upside down on the top. To clamp the bottom and the top of a kitchen base cabinet for example. If you have a number of small wooden parts to glue together, yes they could be misaligned. Therefore you take the clips away and you put it right on the rail. The zinc plating of the rail helps that the glue can easily be scraped off. Another option is to use more than the two clips that come with the clamp. There is a spare part set, with two protection caps, the end clip and two rail clips. If you turn the clamp to the back and put it on a table you can use it as a kind of a “vice” or press. The sliding arm slides a litte bit eraised free on the rail and the BESSEY table clamp TK-6 the whole device can be mounted on the table top. Compare these to a harbor freight Clamp. One is cheaper, but bends at the longer distances. The other can hold its shape past 2 ft and built solid.

if you need them for work, it will be paid for very quickly. If you're a hobbyist, you probably don't need them anyway. This is some serious productivity tool, i.e an object that will make your production goes faster or smoother. Time is money, unless you're doing woodworking at hobby level.

I caution people to check their Revo clamps when they receive them. I bought a set only to find THE JAWS ARE NOT PARALLEL! There is no adjustment. I realized this past the date to return them. Very disappointed with Bessey.

The jaws are NOT supposed to be parallel when you are NOT clamping then. They are supposed to be toed inward. Then when you are clamping they become parallel. My so called KZbin woodworkers do not know what they are talking about in there videos when the put a square on their clamps and say they are not parallel. That’s the way they are designed.
